Dynasty Warriors is the famous hack-and-slash series by Omega Force. Born in 1997 as a fighting game, the series evolved in 2000 with Dynasty Warriors 2. It also defined the Musou genre, where players face hundreds of enemies in epic battles.

The series is based on the famous Chinese literary novel Romance of the Three Kingdoms by Luo Guanzhong. Known for its blend of iconic historical characters and fictional ones. Fans eagerly await what’s new in Dynasty Warriors: Origins.


Dynasty Warriors: Origins – The Gameplay Showcase

Dynasty Warriors: Origins acts as a reboot of the series, celebrating its 27th Anniversary. Omega Force recently released a Gameplay Showcase video in collaboration with Playstation on November 18, 2024.

Tomohiko Sho, the Producer of Origins, details the new features in this chapter, launching on 17 January 2025, on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.

Play as a young martial arts expert with amnesia, drawn into the conflicts at the fall of the Han Dynasty. Meet heroes and historical figures, forming alliances or rivalries. Key features include:

Battlefield Tactics

Dynasty Warriors battles put players in fields with hundreds of units. Tactics play a vital role, allowing strategy before battle. Morale affects both allies and enemies—higher morale leads to aggressive attacks, while lower morale results in defensive play by the units.

Solo or Team Combat

Fight solo against waves of enemies or rely on allied heroes in tough battles against generals. Showcase the signature “Musou Attack” and the new “Ultimate Musou Attack.”

Weapons and Equipment

Recruit characters to your army and collect weapons and items for battles. Use 9 weapon types, enhance mastery to unlock new abilities, and equip weapons mid-battle.

Infact Omega Force and Koei Tecmo are releasing a game demo on 22nd November 2024, for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Steam. Test weapons, characters, and features in the Battle of Sishui Gate. Get ready for the official release on 17th January 2025.
