Dune: Awakening is the highly anticipated Funcom MMO Survival PvP, set in the universe created by Frank Herbert. Specifically, we are talking about Dune, heavily inspired by the cinematic series by Denis Villeneuve. A series that has relaunched the great classic, receiving immense success.

With Awakening introducing a more hostile Arrakis than ever, where we will not only have to watch out for the dangers of the desert planet, but also the threat from other players. Dune: Awakening – Pre-order Now Available

Following the announcement of the release date for Dune Awakening on February 20, 2025, the Funcom team brings a new important news. Announcing on March 24, 2025, the green light for pre-orders for the game. Players can now pre-order the title in anticipation of the official launch on May 20, 2025.

As well as the reveal of the 3 editions of the game: Standard, Deluxe, and Ultimate Edition. Each tier guarantees some interesting additions, offering:

  • Standard: Base game and Pre-Order Bonus (Terrarium of Muad’Dib and Sunset Dye Global Swatch)
  • Deluxe: Game, Pre-order Bonus, Season Pass, Sardaukar Bator Armor. And Early Access from May 15 (pre-order)
  • Ultimate: Deluxe contents plus Digital Artbook and Soundtrack and 4 cosmetic items. Early Access from May 15 included (pre-order)

 

Dune: Awakening – Business Model, Post-Launch Content, and Latest News

Additionally, right before the imminent launch, the team has decided to share some important news about the game. News that specifically concerns the approach Dune: Awakening will adopt. Promising that the game will feature free content with various updates, accompanied by optional DLCs and Season Passes.

Also, as confirmed at the official launch, players will be able to opt for a regular server, with no difference between players who play early with the Deluxe and Ultimate editions.
