DOWNGRADED FROM MMORPG
Back in 2019, Pearl Abyss announced a string of new MMOs, including DokeV. However, during gamescom, the company revealed that their plans had changed, and the game is now an open-world action-adventure game.
Originally planned as an MMORPG for all ages, DokeV has been scaled back significantly to be a single-player game with multiplayer elements.
DokeV is still a creature-collecting game like Pokémon and Temtem, and in a tweet, the developers stated that they are going for “fun, vibrant, and adventurous.”
It has to be said that the game does look fun and vibrant, as the latest trailer shows some impressive, bright visuals and exciting gameplay mechanics.
There is no official release date for DokeV yet, with the game set to launch at some point in 2023.
