Will the Diablo 4 open beta be announced this Friday?

Blizzard is finally releasing Diablo 4 in June this year, but before then, an open beta is planned, and rumors suggest it’s close.
Diablo 4 is set to be a part of IGN Fan Fest 2023, and Diablo GM Rod Fergusson has teased us all on Twitter by suggesting an open beta date could be a part of the showcase.
When asked about a Diablo 4 open beta announcement on Twitter, Fergusson replied, “Soon! If only we could have a gaming moment this month where you could announce something like that…”
Fergusson’s comment refers to IGN Fanfest 2023, which takes place February 17-18, where we could get more information on the upcoming game, its features, and when we can play its beta.
