Diablo 4: What Will the Endgame Look Like?

DIABLO 4: HOW DOES THE ENDGAME WORK?

Blizzard Entertainment is releasing the long-awaited Diablo 4 next month, and we have been getting little bits of information regarding what we can do during the endgame throughout the last few weeks.

Playing through Diablo 4 is only the beginning, as just like with Diablo 3, there will be plenty of activities, events, and reasons to grind in the endgame.

Once completing Diablo 4 and slaying Lilith, you’ll gain access to World Tiers, which will grant you more powerful loot and valuable items whether you want to jump back into dungeons, travel the world, or compete in PvP.

And just as with Diablo 3, the Paragon system is back, and in Diablo 4, the Paragon Board features a massive amount of skills, boons, and buffs that you can equip or target for your build that will completely change your playstyle and make it unique.

Alongside the Paragon Board, you have the Codex of Power, which will contain all the aspects you find when completing dungeons. You can then use those aspects to turn your items into Legendary items and make them more powerful.

You’ll need to improve your items, too, because throughout your journey, you will find special runes or sigils that you can use to enter a Nightmare Dungeon, which is a dungeon you’ve previously completed but now with added difficulty and objectives.

During these Nightmare Dungeons, you may encounter a Hell Gate, a portal that will unleash monsters from another region to challenge you further as you push through the dungeon.

The new endgame challenges are not just limited to dungeons. Helltide areas will open up across Sanctuary in the overworld, allowing you to slay powerful monsters and earn exclusive rewards.

As for PvP, you can enter the Fields of Hatred and slay monsters to collect shards. These shards need purifying before you return to town and sell them, and to purify them, you’ll need to fight off other players who will be alerted when a shard is being purified.

Diablo 4 has something for everyone, and even when you’ve finished the campaign, there are thousands of hours of fun to have when it releases on June 6.
