Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred is the first major DLC expansion for Blizzard’s latest action RPG. The Vessel of Hatred expansion adds the new Spiritborn class, Nahantu region, PvE co-op challenges, and a revamped endgame. Players can try out new skills and passives and get all-new loot now that Vessel of Hatred is out on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.

The Diablo 4 endgame has changed drastically from its original release. Vessel of Hatred does away with World Tiers, with Blizzard introducing Torment difficulty levels. Players coming back to the game may also notice the Infernal Hordes co-op mode and the all-new Dark Citadel, a co-op dungeon that introduces new group-based weekly challenges and rewards. Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred is available now on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

Diablo 4 endgame improvements in Vessel of Hatred

A complaint from many who played Diablo 4 at its release was the lack of endgame direction. The Diablo 4 campaign is an incredible experience with a fully immersive story and breathtaking cinematics. Once players reached the endgame, Diablo 4 fell short as most found themselves replaying the same dungeons or completing Nightmare Dungeons in the hope of Legendary items. In truth, Diablo 4 had a lot of different endgame activities, but a lack of focus made it fall short.

Blizzard has switched things up in Vessel of Hatred, introducing the new Torment difficulty, which unlocks once players complete the campaign. Ramping up the difficulty will offer new challenges and the possibility of finding improved gear, including Ancestral items. Players can earn exclusive rewards with the Dark Citadel, a new co-op dungeon that refreshes its challenges and rewards weekly. The Dark Citadel also drops Citadel Coins and Khasra Horns, new currency types from defeating elites and bosses that players can spend on new cosmetics and other in-game items.

The new Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred endgame includes the Kurast Undercity, a new “multistage, time-attack dungeon” that players can personalize through new Tributes. Blizzard has introduced the Diablo 4 Party Finder. As with other Blizzard games, like the World of Warcraft Group Finder, the Diablo 4 Party Finder is a quick and easy way for solo players to find groups and jump into dungeons and content. All this and more can be found in Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred, which is available now.
