Ahead of its release next month, Bungie shared a new trailer for Destiny 2’s upcoming expansion, The Witch Queen. The video showcases Savathûn’s throne world, which the creators described as a mysterious place. What dangers lie await Guardians in this murky swamp, no one knows.
The Witch Queen will have Guardians exploring a new location, as they a new Campaign, as well as take part in a new raid, and enjoy a full new season of content.
The new raid will take place in a sunken pyramid that lies somewhere within Savathûn’s Throne World. Guardians will be facing “an ancient danger” that’s been imprisoned within its walls.
The add-on will allow players to craft their own weapons through a new crafting system. This feature comes with a “unique combination of mods, shaders, and advanced stat pools” that players can use to create their very own customized weapons to help them defeat their adversary.
A new weapon called the Glaive, which is a melee-projectile hybrid, will also be added. Those who master this weapon will be able to perform melee combos, fire projectiles, and defend themselves with a powerful energy shield.

Those who are also looking for more to do in Destiny 2 will be happy to know that The Witch Queen will also include a new 6-player activity Matchmade Activity called Eternal Conflict.
Destiny 2 The Witch Queen will be available starting February 22, 2022 in Standard, Deluxe, and Collector’s Editions.
Pre-order it today and you will receive instant unlocks for the Throne World Exotic Ghost Shell, Enigma Exotic Emote, and Legendary Emblem.
