Norman Reedus’ interview with Leo Edit talked about the actor’s book, “The Ravaged,” and towards the middle part of it, his work on The Walking Dead and Death Stranding were mentioned.

“Okay, so you got the book going on, you’ve got the final season coming out, then the spinoff, and you’re filming Death Stranding, the video game,” Leo Edit enumerates.

Reedus responded, saying, “We just started the second one,” referring to the video game.

He then told the story of how he met Hideo Kojima who was then working on Silent Hill, and how he was “blown away by what he was showing” him, and how he said “yes” to Death Stranding.

“It took me maybe two or three years to finish all the MoCap sessions and everything. It takes a lot of work. And then the game came out, and it just won all these awards, and it was a huge thing, so we just started part two of that,” Reedus adds.

Over on Twitter, it looks like Hideo Kojima got wind of Reedus’ statement and posted a tweet saying, “Go to your private room, my friend,“ referring to the Private Room in Death Stranding where the player rests. Kojima neither denied nor confirmed what Reedus revealed in his interview.
