Rainbow Six: The Situation Between Ubisoft and Tencent
As Tom himself reminds us, the situation with the series is not exactly ideal. With Ubisoft in a precarious state and Tencent’s recent involvement. In fact, the recent failure of Rainbow Six Extraction could solidify the creation of this XCOM-like game from Ubisoft’s new subsidiary under Tencent.
Still unannounced, and with many developers worried about both the project’s future and job cuts. Meanwhile, Ubisoft is preparing for the release of Rainbow Six: Siege X on June 10th. The 10th Anniversary update will bring new changes to Siege, including graphical improvements and even deeper tactical and interaction layers.
