The Farm 51, developers of Chernobylite, have released a new gameplay trailer and confirmed that the game would leave Early Access in just a few weeks.
Chernobylite is a science-fiction survival horror in which you play as an ex-employee of the Chernobyl Power plant searching for his missing loved one.
The trailer shows the dangers of exploring the plant’s exclusion zone and some of the horrors that you can encounter.
The exclusion zone itself is accurately 3D-scanned for a truly accurate representation of Chernobyl.
CHERNOBYLITE GAMEPLAY
Everything you do in Chernobylite has a consequence. Your decisions will affect your companions and even the world, making your actions front and center of the story.
It’s not all bad news, though; you do have a handy device that you can use to change the past and your previous decisions.
Just be warned, though, that creating an alternate reality comes with its own problems and horrors.
Threats come in natural and supernatural forms, and choosing how you deal with each could mean life or death.
Just as with any survival horror game, you will need help from your companions, and you must learn to look after your basic needs through crafting and modifications.
WHEN DOES CHERNOBYLITE LEAVE EARLY ACCESS?
Chernobylite leaves early access on July 28 and is available to buy on Steam and GoG. Console players can expect the game to launch in late 2021.
