Chained Together, the co-op platformer that tasks players with climbing out of hell while connected in chains, now has an integrated map editor. If being tied to your friends in frustrating and chaotic situations wasn’t enough, now you can create your own and share them with the world.

New map editor feature in Chained Together update

The new map editor is available by clicking “Workshop” in the game’s main menu. From there, players can explore new challenges, add and adjust various objects, design environments, and even add triggers to the map. The map can then be published directly from the game, with editing also available once it’s made public.

Playing custom maps is also simple. Players can download levels by subscribing to them in the Workshop. The new map editor is a great way to explore new challenges with friends and test your friendships. It’s a mode that has been wanted since the game’s release, and developer Anegar Games has duly delivered.
