A licensed Transformers racing game with actual robot combat elements being one of the most unique and fun racers of 2024 was certainly not on my bingo card, but I ain’t complainin’. A very solid racing module, a lot of smashing and bashing in car form, and then a fast-paced, if quite simplistic third-person robot-shooting intermissions make for a legit fun time, with even a surprising depth in the loadouts and available characters.

Alongside this, you’ll tackle run-and-gun layers as you work your way to the finish line. This bizarre combination will annoy purists, but lovers of the franchise will not care. Though it doesn’t excel, it is a decent fantasy racing title.
