Mageseeker is perhaps my favorite thing to come out of Riot Forge publishing yet. Digital Sun has already proven that they have a good grasp of what makes an action-RPG fun, but they put their chops to great work here, bending a highly interesting corner of League of Legends lore to their style. Sylas fits them well, and they make his story sing in turn. Between compelling ability-stealing combat, chain-flinging traversal, an ever-expanding and upgradeable arsenal, and a beautiful musical score guiding another awesome visual and narrative interpretation of League of Legends, Mageseeker is an incredible time. Whether you’re a fan of League of Legends or not, this is a journey worth seeing through to the end.

The Mageseeker: A League of Legends Story" is a new single-player action-adventure game set in the world of League of Legends. Players take on the role of a Mageseeker, tasked with hunting down rogue mages who threaten the peace of the land. The game's storyline is engaging, filled with intriguing characters and plot twists that keep players hooked from start to finish. The game's combat system is smooth and satisfying, with players able to unlock new abilities and upgrades as they progress through the game. The game's graphics are also stunning, capturing the magic and beauty of the world of League of Legends.
The newest entry in the spinoff series of the "A League of Legends Story", The Mageseeker is an hack&slash title developed by Digital Sun, under Riot Forge. Once again, expanding upon the lore introduced into the moba game and of course taking things up a notch, The Mageseeker is a whole new experience crafted to showcase of the champion Sylas, who accused of killing the king is imprisoned in a Demacian prison, until thanks to the powers of a young Lux, is able to escape from his imminent execution. Becoming a symbol of hope for many, thus becoming one of the leaders of the rebellion. With a pretty intense start thus, we'll lead Sylas on his journey, taking down enemies such as mages, but also various monsters out from the LoL world interacting with returning and new characters, including fan favorite Morgana, Shyvana, Lux, Jarvan IV and many more. All in a quite pretty 2d hack&slash title, with a lot of spells to unlock and use, among the 6 different type of element, which will also reflect some of the enemies we'll encounter. With the ability to change the various spells when finding a checkpoint and obtain new from exploration, boss or even temporarily steal them from enemies (later can be obtained permanently), we'll be able to customize our style and rotate them accordingly. Of course it's not just limited to attack tye of spell, but also boosting, mana infusions, shielding and obviously healing. The Mageseeker isn't just an experience tailored to the fan of the series, but also a decently competent and fun games, that take advantage of the lore of the League of Legends universe, along with a rather fun and varied gameplay, with plenty of bosses and a good soundtrack to boot, for about a dozen hours or so.
Riot Forge knows how to build on the huge success of the League of Legends MOBA. They have cleverly adapted the franchise to launch other products: PC and mobile video games, series, derivative products... Without rushing, by privileging quality over quantity. That's what makes me optimistic about the game. So here is an RPG where you play as Sylas, one of the many MOBA characters (not the most popular but it has its audience), freed from its chains, with the promise of a Hack n slash style gameplay. We will meet many other characters from the LoL universe in our journey to overthrow Demacia, mainly through magic. The Pixel Art aspect may bother some, but not me personally, especially if it allows us to focus on other aspects of the game. And that doesn't mean it won't be neat. The story promises to be neat and interesting, further enriching the unlimited lore opened up by the doors of the 150+ playable characters in the League of Legends Moba. Fans will probably enjoy it.
Mageseeker is a new game published by Riot Forge where we take on the role of Sylas in an action RPG. Storywise we are on a journey to liberate Demacia from the mageseekers and raise a rebellion. We'll be able to recruit mages to our cause and with their power upgrade our base and unlock new abilities. The combat seems diverse and we can use different types of magic even the one stolen from our opponents as well as our chains and fists. Visually and aesthetically the game presents 2D pixel graphics with a good style in my opinion.
