By the Nine Divines! Oblivion Remastered has descended upon us like a Daedric miracle—and it’s nothing short of divine. In a timeline where Bethesda can be a wild dice roll, this one’s a critical hit, thanks to the combined efforts of Bethesda and Virtuous. This isn’t just a visual upgrade—it’s a heartfelt tribute to Cyrodiil itself, lovingly reforged with modern-day sorcery.
Overall, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered brings plenty of welcome changes to the original formula while still maintaining the quirkiness of the original game. This is a prime example of a loving remaster: improve the original concept without veering away from it completely. It’s not completely perfect, since it still features some of the glitchy nature of the original game, like asset pop-in. Nonetheless, “perfect” isn’t what fans want out of Elder Scrolls. They want exploration and fun, and that’s exactly what you get from The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered.
Some minor technical issues aside, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered is everything a fan of the series could ask for, whilst also giving newcomers the best version of the game.

Sometimes a merchant may sell a PSN account with the game you want connected to that account. Buying a PSN account is often much cheaper than buying a game key or activation code. To download the game, follow these simple steps: - Login to the PSN account with the details given to you by the seller. - Download the game to your PS4 or PS5 console. - Log back into your own account. - Find the game in your library. - Play the game! For more information, see our tutorial on how to activate a PlayStation account. Never share your PlayStation details with anyone!
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered has arrived, much to everyone's surprise. The game is more of a remake, however, with a major technical and graphical overhaul. The joy of an old-school RPG with modern tools and a reworked, smoother interface is back, and it has nothing to do with the graphics of 2006, of course! There are still a few bugs, but hopefully they'll be fixed soon.
My favorite is the Fighters Guild in The Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion!
PS5 UK - My favorite character is Lucien Lachance, because he is like your guide into the Dark Brotherhood (One of the best questlines, if not the best). Although You don't see him in the first stages, past the last quest for Ocheeva, he is basically the main character. He has one of the best personalities and "backstories" (regarding the lore) of any main protagonist/antagonist of the Game without DLC.
I enjoyed the Whodunit quest so much! Nothing beats casually telling folks you’re an assassin, then just sitting back and watching the confusion when people start mysteriously dropping like flies. Sometimes I randomly start Oblivion just to relive this quest!
