NINJA GAIDEN: Master Collection includes three high-speed Ninja Gaiden action titles in one package, remastered and developed by KOEI TECMO GAMES CO., LTD. Each title is still just as fun as you remember in addition to Ryu Hayabusa 4 other characters are joining you Ayane, Rachel, Momiji, and Kasumi you can then create a tag team with your favorite characters and freely swap them out during battle. • Ninja Gaiden 3 Razors Edge – The third game in the Ninja Gaiden franchise Ryu Hayabusa and his party of heroines “Ayane”, “Kasumi”, and “Momiji” makes their return to play all previous games game modes including new ones like “Test of Valor” a mini-game mode in between stages allowing players to test their skills against Ninja Gaidens deadliest enemies, also included are more collectibles “Golden Scarabs” for you to collect adding more replay value.

The Ninja Gaiden Master Collection is a great collection of games and the only way a lot of players can even access these titles. The first and second games are still classics. The third is fine, but just doesn’t stand on the same shoulders as its predecessors. Also, that T-rex fight is still ridiculous. Still, it is nice to have all the games in one place. Don’t sleep on these games. They are still pillars of the character action genre and worth playing to this day.

Ultimately, Ninja Gaiden: Master Collection may have a rather niche market. If you have already played all three games included in the collection, then there is little reason for you to pick it up unless you didn’t get to experience the DLC in each game.
