Microtransactions were unavailable during the early access period, but I never felt that I was at a disadvantage. The microtransactions will probably allow you to purchase coins, but their scope remains unclear at this point. In my opinion, I don’t think they’re necessary, and you’ll have a lot of fun if you just buy the standard edition.
