Koira is a hand-drawn exploration and adventure game. The theme is rather simple, since the game is about a friendship between you and your puppy... but the art direction is clean and convincing, alternating between phases of exploration, finding objects with puzzles and encounters. But in the enchanted forest, darkness is also part of the game, and enemies are on the prowl! Quite attractive!
I love dogs and I know this game is gonna make me very emotional when I play it. Having to rescue and befriend a doggy makes me soft, and graphically the game looks too adorable, no need for lots of details to share feelings, 2D drawing is better. Gameplay is the usual cooperative puzzles, only one player so you control both, dog and human, to avoid dangers, and to restore the harmony of the forest. I just hope it won’t make me cry too much.
Koira is an upcoming 2D adventure game with hand-drawn visuals and no dialogue. Befriend a dog and take care of it while you explore the forest and solve puzzles. Take care of your companion and protect it against hunters by using stealth and the environment. This is the first game by Studio Tolima and it's beign published by the fairly well-known DON'T NOD.
