High Strangeness is an action–adventure, indie RPG  developed by Barnyard Intelligences Games and Crystal Labs and published by Midnight City, Majesco Entertainment.

You will play as Boyd, a young man who is very curious and explores all the paranormal or science fiction inspired events. As he pokes his nose into the unknown, he unwittingly finds himself in a quest to unlocking the secrets of a mysterious artifact. He then finds himself being dragged into a strange world being chased by the Shadow Men.

This game is very unique in terms that it is a hybrid of an eight and sixteen bit games. You can switch from one or the other in order to solve the puzzles and explore the vast universe. Your battle for peace through out all the universes would lie in these alternate worlds.

Throughout the game there will be beautiful watercolor illustrations that will give you hits on how to understand your very mysterious surroundings. To add to the feel of strangeness will be the chiptune soundtrack by Dino Lionetti and Rich Vreeland.

Everything may seem strange at first, but as you explore and journey throughout both worlds, the puzzle pieces will fit into place and the picture will become clearer and clearer.
