About CryoFall

Cryofall is a sci-fi colony-sim survival game developed by AtomicTorch Studio, set on a distant planet in the far future together with other survivors you will need to rebuild civilization from scratch. Start with primitive technology and simple tools and use them to progress towards modern industrial and even beyond eventually reaching space-age technology only seen in science fiction.

• The game can be played as either a relaxed PVE experience with no competition or a brutal and unforgiving PVP. Join one of the many available servers with different game modes, or host your own and invite your friends to join you.
• Build your house together with other players, dig wells, and create farms to sustain basic needs. Build vehicles to explore the world faster. Establish the basics of science, all the way from medicine to chemistry.
• Build factories to produce on an industrial scale; weapons and defense systems bionic implants to augment yourself, and even large war machines and artillery guns to use against the biggest opponents.

The vast majority of the game is an extremely engaging and rewarding survival game that is made only more fun when you have friends to jump into a server with. Advancing through the research trees and advancing from merely surviving in the wasteland to comfortably living in it is a great experience, and is one that CryoFall offers players in a unique way.

But Why Tho?

CryoFall doesn’t feel like a 1.0 release, but rather a title that just now landed in Early Access. While the survival mechanics and progression systems are well designed, there isn’t enough content to justify spending a lot of time with the game. Hardcore survival fans that are looking to explore a new world with mechanics that feel familiar will probably have some fun with CryoFall, but most will be better off playing a more popular title with the same central conceits.
