About this game

Black Book is a card-based adventure RPG steeped in Slavic folklore, about a girl named Vasilisa on her destined journey to become a witch, prompted by the death of her betrothed husband under mysterious circumstances, now she seeks the titular Black Book a demonic artifact said to be powerful enough to a granted wish to anyone who can break all of its seven seals. I enjoyed my time with Black Book, but it’s definitely held back by some of its shortcomings. This isn’t necessarily due to a lack of skill from the developers, but more an issue with such a small budget. However, I think they would have benefited from a different art style, perhaps like the one found in their other game, The Mooseman.
