  • New York City – One of the most well-known cities of the world fully recreated as it was in the 18th century.

Assassin’s Creed: Rogue is a great ending to the American saga of the franchise and a great game in its own right. Ubisoft has also done a fine job with the PC port, making it an easy recommendation to any fan.

I do fear for the future of the series, though, as while Black Flag and Rogue’s gameplay might be stale at this point, Unity’s departures are headed in a very troubling direction. Rogue was quick and fun and I was a little sad when the main story ended. Juxtapose that to Unity, which I’m going to try finishing this week, after months of it sitting on my hard drive, untouched. I don’t have high hopes.
