QuakeCon 2021

Last year, Quakecon 25 only took place digitally due to the Corona pandemic, and that won’t change this year. As Bethesda Softworks has announced, Quakecon 26 will also be a digital event.

The official word on the matter is, “In order to ensure the safety of our staff, volunteers and community, this year’s QuakeCon will once again be a digital-only event. It will take place from Aug. 19-21. We’ll announce more details about the streaming lineup, charity events, giveaways and more in June!”

Here’s the announcement about it on Twitter:

It is not yet known which games Bethesda will present at the trade show. Since Bethesda was bought by Microsoft, we are curious to see how this will affect the upcoming titles.

If there is any more news about this, we will let you know.

What does AKS think: It’s a shame that the event can only take place digitally. Let’s hope that everything will be better next year. We will server you update when there is a QuakeCon Live Stream schedule!
