Nikelodeon’s Avatar: The Last Airbender is getting a its very own competitive multiplayer fighting game thanks to a new partnership between Maximum Entertainment and Paramount.
Announced as part of the Maximum 2024 roadmap, CEO and founder of Maximum Entertainment Christina Seelye said: “We are thrilled to announce that we have entered into a partnership with Paramount Consumer Products to develop a competitive multiplayer fighting game set in Avatar: The Last Airbender universe.”

Seelye continued, “This competitive fighting game is set to release into early access in 2025. We are thrilled to be bringing this project to life and we will have so much more to share on this game in the future.”
It’s exciting news for Avatar: The Last Airbender fans who haven’t exactly had a lot of games based on their favorite anime, with the most recent one, Avatar: The Last Airbender – Quest for Balance, not selling so well and currently sitting on “Mostly Negative” on Steam.

So far, we don’t know who is developing the game or the exact release date. We have been promised an Early Access launch in 2025 and although we don’t know the roster, we can safely assume that it will feature Korra, Azula, Zuko, and Iroh, who are all playable characters in the recently released Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2.
