To celebrate the launch of the new and first DLC of Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, titled The Sky Breaker, the team at Ubisoft also announces the start of a Trial Version available on Consoles. An opportunity certainly not to be missed for those who have yet to try the new Avatar adventure by Massive Entertainment, and discover more about the world of Pandora through a region of the planet never explored by James Cameron’s films.
A promotion by Ubisoft to celebrate the release of The Sky Breaker, the first DLC of Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. DLC released on 16 July 2024 accompanied by the announcement of a Trial Version available for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. The requirements to be able to take advantage of the Trial Version is to be connected to the internet, but we won’t be able to play in co-op. With a Trial available from 16 July to 28 July 2024.
As a Trial Version, players will be able to play the open world in first person in the Avatar universe for a maximum of 5 hours. Alternatively, the Trial will end if we reach the Hometree during the Main Quest “The Aranahe Clan”. This is one of the first main missions, or more precisely the sixth mission. In short, we will be able to play for a good number of hours, being able to explore freely until the time expires, which we can always check by accessing the Pause Menu.
A certainly welcome initiative that allows many to get their hands on and discover more about Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. Therefore, choosing to decide to take the title of Massive Entertainment if they are enjoying the gaming experience and the story. Although the big fans of James Cameron’s universe won’t certainly miss this opportunity.
An opportunity that will also be accompanied by a big 50% discount from 16 July on PS5 and 18 July for Xbox, until least 1st August 2024, bringing the base price from 79.99€ to 39.99€. A certainly more accessible price, and with the purchase you can continue to play with the progress of the Trial Version. It’s really unfortunate that the trial is only available on consoles. I was looking forward to explore the game on PC, but given the amount of negative reviews, the free demo would have helped me to make my mind. Nevertheless, I hope that many gamers were able to benefit from this offer!
