With just over a month to go until the release, the Rebellion team has dropped a new trailer for Atomfall, the post-apocalyptic action-adventure set in 1960s Britain!
Atomfall is the action-adventure and survival game from Rebellion set in 1962 England, in an alternate timeline five years after the Windscale Fire. A game that’s heavily inspired by Fallout, with a touch of Bioshock.
It offers an open-world adventure full of mysteries and dangers around the Lake District, where a quarantine zone has been set up. Playing as the protagonist, who suffers from amnesia, you’ll face a radically changed world, trying to survive and uncover the truth about what really happened.
Atomfall: The New Features Trailer
With the first 2025 trailer dedicated to Atomfall, the Rebellion team reminds us of the game’s upcoming arrival. They’ve released the new Features Trailer just over a month before launch, scheduled for 27 March 2025 on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC.
This brand new trailer introduces us to the world of Atomfall, set in a lush location in the Lake District. Where we’ll meet numerous characters, each with their own story, and face many dangers and secrets waiting for us.
Atomfall: New Features from the Trailer
In the new trailer, the Rebellion team goes into more detail on the Xbox Wire page. We’re introduced to the game’s “Leads” system, a set of optional choices that lead us to meet characters or tackle situations in different ways.
We meet Nat Buckshaw, probably the first character we’ll encounter in the game. Who may guide us towards Molly the Tinker, a trader who will be useful for bartering resources and money. The importance of the Metal Detector is also shown, which helps us find valuable resources like ammunition. While we’ll also deal with various gangs of bandits outside the safe zones.

The launch of Atomfall is scheduled for the end of March, with just over a month until release. It’s a game that’s already grabbing attention due to its interesting setting. Offering a post-apocalyptic adventure in Britain, with great potential to become the “British Fallout.”
