Ubisoft has unveiled the Assassin’s Creed Origins free Discovery Tour which is some sort of a virtual educational tour of ancient Egypt. In a blog post, Ubisoft further explains on the free mode:

“A dedicated mode separate from the main game, Discovery Tour features dozens of guided tours curated by historians and Egyptologists. Each focuses on a different subject, including the Great Pyramids, the life of Cleopatra, mummification, and more.”
As this is an educational mode, players will be able to roam around the map without facing any threats. Locations like Memphis, Alexandria, the Sand Sea, and the Giza Plateau can be explored at the player’s own pace.
The Assassin’s Creed Origins free Discovery Tour will come in a update in 2018. Assassin’s Creed Origins will be released on 27 October 2017, and will be available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
