It was created on December 1, 2016, as the company’s project to expand into the video game industry. It serves as an important publisher for numerous small developers, many of them independent.
Over the years, it has brought beloved titles like What Remains of Edith Finch, Outer Wilds, Twelve Minutes, Stray, and many others. It faced internal management issues at Annapurna Pictures during 2024. However, with new leadership, the company is determined to keep its editorial promises.

After a rather turbulent 2024, the Annapurna Interactive team returns with good news for 2025. The publisher confirms the arrival of the 2025 Publisher Showcase. On this date, Annapurna will showcase some of the upcoming games.
The team has announced the date for Monday, February 24, 2025, at 9:00 AM PT / 12:00 PM ET / 6:00 PM CET. The showcase will last about 30 minutes and can be watched on the publisher’s YouTube channel.

Annapurna Interactive Showcase 2025: Confirmed Titles
From the teaser reminding us of the event, we can spot president Hector Sanchez, along with some members of the new Annapurna Interactive team, including possibly Paul Doyle himself. The Annapurna team has already confirmed some of the titles to be featured, which include:
- Faraway: An arcade game by Steph Thirion
- Lushfoil Photography Sim: A photography simulation adventure by Matt Newell
- Morsels: An action roguelike and monster collector by Furcula
- Skin Deep: A non-linear shooting adventure on a spaceship by Blendo Games
- to a T: A colorful narrative adventure by uvula LLC
- Wanderstop: A narrative and simulation adventure by Ivy Road
- Wheel World: A colorful open-world bicycle racing game by Messhof
Titles that many have been waiting for include to a T by Keita Takahashi, the creator of Katamari. And Wanderstop by the creator of Stanley Parable, coming on March 11, 2025. But also, many are hoping for news about Blade Runner 2033: Labyrinth, a game created internally by Annapurna. Plus, news about Silent Hill: Townfall, co-published by Annapurna and Konami.
