Amazon Games to Release New AAA Driving Game With Ex-Forza Devs
Amazon Games has announced they will publish a new narrative-led AAA driving game with Maverick Games.

Amazon Games has partnered with Maverick Games, a team led by former Forza Horizon devs, to publish a new open-world racing game on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
Founded in 2022, Maverick Games is a talented team led by former Playground Games employees, the studio behind the Forza series, including Mike Brown, the former creative director for the Forza Horizon games.
The unannounced driving game will be open-world and narrative-driven, with Jamie Brittain, the co-writer of the UK TV show Skins, writing the story.
Announcing the partnership in a blog post, Amazon Games’ Christoph Hatmann said: “Mike and his team are the total package — proven game developers who are masters at their craft and aren’t content with the status quo. Their vision for this game is fresh and innovative, and we’re looking forward to working alongside them to bring it to players around the world.”
The move by Amazon Games sees the company build upon its ever-growing portfolio, including a new Lord of the Rings MMO and Tomb Raider game.
