Age of Mythology Retold Global Launch Time

Age of Mythology Retold is confirmed to release for PC and Xbox on September 4 but you can play it up to 7 days earlier which, as of writing, is in 10 days! There are two ways to get early access to this game.

First is outright preordering the game’s Premium Edition. This is PACKED with great inclusions. Apart from the advance access, you also get the New Gods Pack which is a timed-exclusive, the Legacy Deity Portraits Pack, and 2 Expansion Packs which will become available upon its release.

Considering the prices of video games these days, Age of Mythology Retold Premium Edition isn’t what you would consider expensive. But of course, it’s still 50 euros. Fortunately for players who own Age of Mythology Extended Edition on Steam, an automatic 15% discount is available for you. And if you were able to get it during the sale in June, then you’re winning!



The second way to play the game early is by preordering the Premium Upgrade. This is applicable to those who got the Standard Edition first. Although buying the Premium Edition outright is more economical as upgrading is basically 9% more expensive, it happens. With the upcoming game releases, it’s hard ot budget game money!

Play Age of Mythology Retold for free with an active Game Pass subscription upon the game’s release on September 4, 2024. It is one of the 4 confirmed day-one launches in the service next month.

In relation to the early access, it will not be applicable in the Game Pass version. As mentioned above, only those who prepurchased the Premium Edition or the Premium Upgrade will have access to it.
