COMING TO XBOX GAME PASS
Microsoft’s acquisition of Activision Blizzard may get approved this Friday, according to reports, which may open the path for Call of Duty, Diablo 4 and more of the publisher’s games to launch on Xbox Game Pass.
Revealing the plans in a Tweet, Activision Blizzard said, “While we do not have plans to put Modern Warfare III or Diablo IV into Game Pass this year…we anticipate that we would begin adding games into Game Pass sometime in the course of next year.”
It means CoD, Diablo, Overwatch 2, and possibly even WoW may release on Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass pretty soon. That is, if the $69 billion deal to acquire Activision Blizzard is approved as we expect on October 13.
DIABLO 4 NOW ON STEAM
At this point, it seems likely as Overwatch 2 is already available on Steam, and Diablo 4 releases on Valve’s storefront on October 17.
It’s exciting news if you’re an Xbox and PC player, but only time will tell where it leaves you if you’re a PlayStation player.
