Looks like it isn’t just Epic users getting daily freebies for the Holidays. The countdown is on and EA Play has just got the perfect way to spread the gaming cheer. And since EA Play is free for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription, subscribers for this tier can join in the fun too!
EA Play and Game Pass Ultimate Daily Rewards
In exactly a week from now, Christmas is in full bloom and regardless if you celebrate it or not, the holiday spirit is undeniably everywhere and the season of giving has started. Epic has already begun its Mystery games in conjunction with its Holiday event, and now EA Play is giving subscribers daily rewards as well.
EA Play Holiday freebies started on December 17 and will run for 10 days, ending on December 26. If you missed it, the first game up for grabs was Battlefield 1: Revolution. The offer is no longer valid as it goes away after 24 hours but a new reward is live: Skate 3 – Danny’s Hawaiian Dream DLC.
Yep, the freebies are not necessarily games, but DLCs, points, and upgrades too. In fact, the official banner for the event is very telling. If it were true (which why wouldn’t it be) these are the 10 rewards included in the event:
- Battlefield 1 Revolution
- Skate 3 – Danny’s Hawaiian Dream DLC
- PGA Tour 500 points
- NFS Unbound Palace Edition Upgrade
- Fight Night Champion
- Plants vs Zombie GW2 Deluxe Edition
- Star Wars Battlefront 2 Celebrtion Edition
- Titanfall 2 Ultimate Edition
- Battlefield 2042 Elite Upgrade
- Sims 4 Home Chef Hustle Stuff Pack
While this could very well be the list (as no lineup was actually confirmed) the schedule is unknown.
How To Claim The Rewards?
There are multiple ways to redeem. You may check any of these as it seems not everyone is successful in some ways:
- Search the game on Xbox.com or the EA App
- Go to the Subscriptions tab in the Xbox Store and click Games with EA Play then look for the “Just For You” section
- Check your email or messages for a direct link
Also worth noting that local time seems to be in effect as some gamers reported to have the Battlefield offer still when some already have the Skate 3.
