In an interview with Easy Allies, game director Sebastian Kalemba and executive producer Gosia Mitręga divulged that Gwent, the popular strategy card game beloved in The Witcher 3, will return in the upcoming Witcher 4.

CD Projekt Red announced The Witcher 4 with a cinematic trailer that revealed Ciri as the new protagonist. The upcoming Witcher saga will be a trilogy, with Geralt appearing, and a release could come in 2027.
