During The Game Awards 2024, fans were treated to another exciting news, the official release date for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth’s highly anticipated PC version. The announcement was accompanied by a major win for the game as it took home the award for Best Score & Music.
This PC version, scheduled to release on January 23, 2025, is set to bring new features and customizations designed to take full advantage of the platform.

Players can also customize the LoD and background textures through the settings, allowing for higher polygon and texture density to achieve sharper, more detailed visuals.
The PC version is also confirmed to support DualSense controllers, offering PS5-level precision and feedback, while keyboard and mouse customization ensures smooth and flexible control. While it’s still in development, the game is also being optimized for the Steam Deck.

Preorders are now live on Steam and Epic Games Store, and it comes bearing gifts. An Early Bird Discount is in effect, giving gamers 30% discount on both the Standards and Deluxe Editions. This price cut is valid until February 5, 2025. Yes, it goes beyond the launch date.
