The masters of horror at Bloober Team have revealed their newest survival horror game. Following the recent success of the Silent Hill 2 remake, Bloober Team has announced a new IP, Cronos: The New Dawn. Set in a grim and brutal futuristic world, Cronos features a nightmarish narrative that will terrify the most hardened horror gamers.
Experienced in horror games such as Layers of Fear, The Medium, Blair Witch, and Silent Hill 2, Bloober Team have become experts at delivering highly engaging psychological and survival horror experiences. Although just announced, horror fans are already excited to get their hands on Cronos: The New Dawn when it releases on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC in 2025.
Cronos: The New Dawn may be a new IP, but it comes from an experienced developer in Bloober Team. Players will find themselves entangled in a gripping story set in a ravaged future where humanity was struck by The Change, a cataclysmic event.
On a path that twists to the future and past, players are Travelers, agents searching for people who die during The Change to extract their essence and bring them to the future. But you’re not alone. Every move you make will place you in a terrifying fight for survival against creatures created from what was once human. Bloober Team brings their horror expertise and intricate story-telling to deliver a highly anticipated new IP.
Anticipation is building already, despite Cronos: The New Dawn only recently being revealed. The excitement surrounding Cronos comes from Bloober Team’s successful Silent Hill 2 Remake, which is a modernized and faithful take on a classic survival horror.
Planned for a 2025 release, Cronos: The New Dawn will launch on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, making it one of the most anticipated titles of next year.
