New World Aeternum Release Time


The day has finally arrived! After much anticipation, New World Aeternum, Amazon Games’ ambitious MMORPG, will launch today. This highly-awaited release takes players to Aeternum, a mystical land where the boundaries of time and reality are shattered. With its dynamic combat system, vast open-world exploration, intense PvP battles, and rich crafting systems, the game promises to offer an immersive experience like no other.

New World Aeternum will be available for PC, Playstation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

Since today is the launch, preloading has already started across all platforms and regions. Console players were able to preload the game starting on the 13th, and PC players on the 14th, during the downtime. So if you just bought the game now, you can go ahead and preload so you can dive in the game the very second it unlocks. Note that it only unlocks after fully downloading the game.

The New World Aeternum launch times are divided into 2: EU/AP Southeast and the rest of the world. Some say the devs did this to not overcrowd the servers.

Here is the exact global server launch info for your reference:

  • All European and AP Southeast worlds across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC will open at 12AM PT (7AM UTC) on October 15.
  • All other worlds (US West, US East, and SA East) across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC will open at 6AM PT (1PM UTC) on October 15.
  • PC players will be able to download the New World: Aeternum game update during the downtime on October 14.

Many gamers were thinking about changing the timezone to play during the “first” unlock which is 6 hours ahead. But many have pointed out too that if one does this, they will be stuck in that region. So weigh in on this before you do so.

As for the preorder and deluxe edition bonuses of the console version, it will not be available until 4AM PT / 11AM UTC on October 15. The preorder bonus is the Azoth Stalker Wolf Mount, which if you own the PC version, you can get automatically if you own the Rise of the Angry Earth expansion and login before Oct. 14 at 11:59PM PDT.

New World Aeternum reportedly has a 100GB storage requirement which a lot of players dread. Upon preloading the game, it actually has 63.235 GB for Playstation and 70.5 GB for PC.
