Starship Troopers: Extermination is now available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC after the shooter left Early Access on October 11. The Starship Troopers: Extermination 1.0 launch follows the game’s early access period that began in May 2023.

What to expect as Starship Troopers: Extermination exits Early Access

After leaving Early Access, Starship Troopers: Extermination adds exciting new features for players. With the 1.0 launch, players can now take advantage of crossplay and join friends across console and PC. It does not feature cross-save or cross-platform progression. Another feature added is companies, with players able to create or join a Company of troopers and fight in the galactical war together.

Once in a company, troopers can head to Planet Boreas as part of the mobile infantry to fight the bugs on the new frozen wasteland. Now fully released, The Galactic War has opened up, offering various campaigns and missions across multiple fronts. Troopers can join Company Operations to participate in community-based special missions to complete objectives and earn rewards.

A Living Roadmap: Post-Launch Content

Offworld Industries has revealed its post-launch content through the first half of 2025 for Starship Troopers: Extermination. The roadmap for the rest of 2024 focuses on performance, optimization, and quality-of-life improvements. In 2025, players can expect new abilities, perks, bugs, a map, and additional class progression.

Starship Troopers: Extermination went live on October 11 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
