September was a great month for PS Plus Extra and Premium members. Not only did we get an awesome initial list which included day-one title, The Plucky Squire, and the re-release of Far Cry 5, but we also got a surprise addition of The Last of Us Part 1. It made its way to the catalog on September 26, making it the 10th title to join the Extra tier. Even if we look outside the Extra and Premium only games, the Essential list was a winner too as it included another day-one title Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions. See how big the shoes are which October has to walk in?

Let’s start off with this month’s Essential game. October brought us a pretty good list with WWE 2K24, Dead Space, and Doki Doki Literature Club. Is it as good as September? Not really, but still good.

Playstation Plus Game Catalog additions for October have been revealed and it is a treat! In other Playstation Plus news, there’s 8 titles leaving Extra and 2 titles leaving Premium on October 22. The pack is led by Gotham Knights and The Evil Within. The latter was “mistakenly” taken out last month but was put back, only to be taken out this month again and for real. Among the list, this title was the one gamers got confused about. Granted that licenses were at play but The Evil Within would have been a great game to play over Halloween. PS Plus could have negotiated one more month!
