The 2024 Season arrives on EA Sports WRC – Discover the new content

EA Sports WRC, the rally racing game by Codemasters, is getting an update at the beginning of October, finally bringing the 2024 championship to the game. With new additional content including circuits, cars, as well as liveries and new teams.

WRC 23 – The 2024 Championship arrives with the Season Expansion

EA Sports WRC, commonly referred to as WRC 23, is the rally game developed by Codemasters based on the renown World Rally Championship. With the conclusion of the game’s Season 6, EA is preparing to launch the new Expansion for WRC 23, updating the game with the current season of the championship, set to conclude in November 2024.

The new season is revealed with trailer that showcases the upcoming content on 8 October 2024. This is the first of 3 content packs, introducing new locations, stages, cars, and liveries from the 2024 season. Additional content, including 4 more stages, cosmetic items, and cars, will be released over the course of the season up until Spring 2025.

WRC 23 – Breakdown of the first Content Pack of the 2024 Season Expansion

The new EA Sports WRC season will arrive as a content bundle divided into 3 packs, available for separate purchase for existing players or included for those purchasing the game at launch. The first pack will be available on 8 October 2024 and includes:

• 2 new locations: Tet Rally Latvia and Orlen 80th Rally Poland, each with 12 stages.
• 5 new cars: 2024 Rally 1 Hybrid versions of the Ford Puma, Hyundai i20 N, and Toyota GR Yaris (WRC), Toyota GR Yaris Rally2 (WRC 2), and Ford Fiesta Rally3 Evo (Junior WRC).
• 52 new liveries and crews: A total of 52 new liveries for the cars, and also for crews, including drivers and co-drivers.

Two rather exciting new locations. Tet Rally Latvia made its debut in the WRC 2024 championship during the July stage, while Orlen 80th Rally Poland returned after a 5-year absence in June. Both stages offer several kilometers of real-world roads with varying terrain and weather conditions.

WRC 23 Season Expansion – The Winter 2024 and Spring 2025 DLCs

While the first pack arriving in October introduces the 2024 season, the other two content packs will be released towards the end of 2024 and in spring 2025, completing the roadmap that EA announced for WRC in late July. The team also has more surprises to announce.

• Winter 2024/2025 with Rallye Monte Carlo: Briançonnet and Vodafone Rally de Portugal: Fafe

Hard Chargers Content Pack:

• Spring 2025 with Rally Sweden – Umeå and Umeå Sprint, and EKO Acropolis Rally Greece – Harvati
