UPDATED Xbox Game Pass October 2024: Schedule of Confirmed Titles

Xbox Game Pass October 2024 new additions start soon. The pack is led by the day-one launch of one of the biggest releases this year, Call of Duty Black Ops 6.

Update October 15 – Right smack in the middle of the month, Microsoft has announced the wave 2 list for Xbox Game Pass October lineup. Many were getting worried since for the longest time, it was only COD Black Ops 6 and then the recently announced MechWarrior 5 Clans that were confirmed for the second half. Speculations went around like it will only be Blizzard titles or that because Black Ops 6 was included, no more games will be added. Thankfully, Game Pass proved these wrong and gave us a total of 5 games including Dead Island 2 for PC this month. Also seen in the update were the 2 Starcraft games entering the service in November.

Also on Game Pass news released today, it is confirmed that Black Ops 6, Modern Warfare 3, and Warzone will be available to stream for free via Xbox Cloud Gaming for Ultimate subscribers.

Update October 2 – Microsoft has finally revealed the first batch of games joining Xbox Game Pass for October 2024. The first drop happens today with MLB The Show 24 and Open Roads, both added to Xbox Game Pass Standard tier. These games initially entered GP “original” tiers in March of this year. The third game joining today is critically-acclaimed game Sifu, known to be “too hard to finish”. Mad Streets and Inscryption will also enter Game Pass this month of the 7th, and 10th, respectively.

Original Publication – September’s addition to Game Pass was incredible. Although a short list, it is packed with awesome games and a lot of day-one launches. Most notably so was the recently released Frostpunk 2 which arguably is on the top 5 most awaited games this year. We also saw Overwatch 2 integration to GP which granted members with a lot of rewards. It is definitely a tough month to go after. But from the looks of it, October can.

Xbox Game Pass October 2024 Joining Titles

Unlike previous months where multiple titles are already confirmed before the month even started (usually the case for day-one launches), October isn’t so.

However, the one confirmed title for next month is a BIG one, joining Frostpunk 2 in the top 5 video game releases this year. Call of Duty Black Ops 6 will be joining Game Pass on launch day. GP members were also treated to an early access of the game during the Open Beta first weekend and if you also joined the second weekend, then you are ready for its launch with the all beta rewards you were able to unlock.

BO6 will officially join other Activision Blizzard titles on Game Pass which includes Diablo 4, Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy, and Overwatch 2. It was rumored that Activision titles will be drip feed into the service but new rumors now are suggesting that October could be a big back catalog of Activision titles, led by COD Black Ops 6.

Whether this is true or not, only time will tell.

While we wait for the official announcement for October’s Game Pass titles, you can check out what was added this month for now. As of writing, there is one title left for September but that can quickly change considering all the surprise additions Xbox Game Pass has had for the past few months.

Don’t forget to browse through the ones leaving on September 30 too. Nine games were added to the list as part of wave 2 and it includes Gotham Knights and two The Walking Dead Games.
