Nintendo is currently striking YouTube videos with copyright claims after The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom gameplay hit the internet before its release date on September 26.
The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom switches things up for the series that began in February 1986. For the first time in the mainline games players control Zelda who sets out to save Link and Hyrule from Ganon with the help of the Tri Rod.
The recent spoilers, which appeared in a YouTube video shared on Reddit, appeared to show the game being booted up on the Switch and its opening moments. The video has now been removed “due to a copyright claim by Nintendo of America Inc.”
Spoilers are nothing new for video games, with Valve currently trying to keep Deadlock content leaks to a minimum ahead of the hero shooter’s official launch.
