EA Sports FC 24 is the successor to FIFA 23, EA’s football game. The only change is the name due to expired licensing rights; the core game remains the same. You can play in Ultimate Team with your own club against other players or take on the career mode as a player. Starting June 14, the European Championship will take place in Germany, and a new free update is now available.
The European Championship update for EA Sports FC 24 was released yesterday. Now, you can enjoy several new features to simulate the World Cup yourself. There are many new modes that bring the European Championship to your console.
Let’s start with the Kick-Off Mode, available from June 14. In this mode, players can quickly start matches and play the “Match of the Day.” This feature lets you play the real-life match of the day with the same starting lineup and stadium, allowing you to prepare before the official game.
There’s also the new UEFA Euro 24 Tournament Mode. In this mode, you can select your favorite nation’s team and play through the entire European Championship as a big tournament. This tournament includes the official match ball and real trophies. You can also create custom tournaments to modify the European Championship.
Another mode is Lead the Nation, similar to the career mode. You can choose an existing player or create your own to represent your country and win the European Championship.
Of course, you don’t have to experience everything in single-player mode. There’s also the Online Friendlies mode, where you can compete with the 24 qualified teams. Additional European teams are also available to play.
There are also updates for the Ultimate Team mode with special promos for the 2024 European Championship. These include “Greats of the Game” and “Path to Glory,” offering special player items that change depending on the tournament’s progress.
Lastly, there’s the “European Journey,” a type of Battle Pass offering rewards in all game modes through various challenges. Rewards range from loan players to special gear.
