The characters have unique Rebel abilities that can deal tremendous damage to groups of enemies, or you can activate the Rebel Instinct, which enhances your attacks and makes them faster.

Gangs of Sherwood features various types of enemies, each with their own movesets and weapons, ensuring that the game remains engaging. The different bosses are also uniquely designed, offering variety and a challenge.

The game is not set in an open world; instead, you must choose which mission to play next, with new levels unlocking over time.
