Godlike Burger is a challenging simulation game that requires you to learn from your failures. You will have to find a way to make money from customers and use them as a viable meat source. With many planets to explore, you will have a lot of content to play through. Unfortunately, awkward controls and odd interface choices hold this game back, but not enough to take away from its powerful strengths.
I want to like this game, I really do. When it works, it works really well. The core gameplay loop is satisfying, the two ideas mesh believably, and figuring out how best to manage the species on a given level is like a fun little puzzle.
It hurts that the gameplay loop is so enjoyable, but falls apart when it comes to progression. The whole product has a fun aesthetic, a sense of humor that avoids the pitfall of being too mean-spirited, and an impressive soundtrack. Godlike Burger works better than it has any right to be.
