Special Agent Mizuki Okiura is a Psyncer, someone who is capable of infiltrating the brains of suspects as she conducts her investigations and interrogations.

Supporting Mizuki is Special Agent Kuruto Ryuki who, although a rookie investigator, has an unmatched drive to solve cases as he tries to run away from a painful past.

Both Mizuki and Ryuki have AIs implanted in their eye sockets, and both will call on these AIs to help them read emotions, solve clues, and stay focused.
