Blizzard finally showed us gameplay of Diablo 4 during the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase 2022, and now we know the campaign and level cap details.
In a recent exclusive with GameSpot, game director Joe Shely revealed the Diablo 4 campaign is roughly 35 hours long.
By the time you finish the campaign, you should, according to Shely, be at around level 45.
If 45 seems a little low, don’t worry because the level cap is 100, with Paragon unlocked at level 50.
Paragon points are reportedly unlocked at four points per level, meaning at level 100, you will have 200 Paragon points to spend on buffs and abilities.
At level 100, you unlock the Diablo 4 endgame content, including nightmare dungeons and the Tree of Whispers.
Shely explains, “you’ve got world tiers that are allowing you to step up the keep, make sure that the difficulty of the world stays on pace with the power of your character level.”
Blizzard plans to keep the Diablo 4 endgame fresh by “frequently cycling world objectives and bounties.”
Of course, Diablo 4 is a work in progress, and although it’s nice to have these details, we should remember that a lot can change before the game releases in 2023.
Diablo 4 will release in 2023 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Series S, and PC.
