Elden Ring: Miyazaki Confirms Easter Eggs

Game director Hidetaka Miyazaki has confirmed Elden Ring Easter eggs that are references to old titles.

FromSoftware titles always include items from other titles they have released, and it won’t be different in the case of Elden Ring.

According to Miyazaki, the game will feature the fan-favorite Moonlight Greatsword which appeared in every FromSoftware game except Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. The Storm Ruler from Demon’s Souls and Dark Souls 3 will also appear in the game. Players will also be able to interact with Patches, the devious traitor who also appeared in Demon’s Souls and Bloodborne.

“I can confidently say yes, this time. Elden Ring is the sort of game that forgives a massive sense of volume and bulk… And so I felt like I was entitled to include these things this time. So yes, you will find them if you look hard enough,” Miyazaki said in an interview with GameInformer.

So where to find Easter eggs in Elden Ring? Nobody knows. But we’re confident eagle-eyed players can spot these in no time when Elden Ring launches on February 25, 2022 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
