Weird West Release Pushed Back

Weird West from Wolfeye Studios needs more development time before it can be released to players.

Weird West will now become available starting March 31, 2022. This was confirmed by Raphael Colantonio himself, who’s the director at Wolfeye Studios.

In the video above, Colantonio talks about the reason behind their decision to delay the game’s release.

“We are passionate developers at Wolfeye,” he says, “and, as we are playing our own game, on one hand we realize that the game is really great, on the other hand we realize it’s not quite ready yet.”

The game was tested through a private beta, where, according to Colantonio, the testers “had a blast.” The developers, however, wanted to “iron out a few stuff” and deliver the best experience possible to their players, so they decided to delay the game’s release.

Colantonio went to thank players for their patience and added, “It’s almost there.”

Weird West will be launching not only for PC, but also for Xbox One, Xbox Series, and Playstation 4. It will also be available via PC Game Pass on day one.
