Capcom is back with a second instalment of Dragon’s Dogma, an RPG that has its qualities but also its flaws. The universe can be immersive, the character creation, certain gameplay ideas… but there are too many enemies and mobs on screen, intrusive special effects, poor ergonomics, uneven dialogue and quests that aren’t always appealing, with some rather boring back-and-forth. The game is rather unpolished, but will appeal to RPG fans or those who enjoyed the first game.
I was hoping to see more positive reviews of Dragon’s Dogma 2, but it seems like devs went too far with their microtransactions. But if you put it aside, the game is pretty much enjoyable and interesting to explore. The combat is fun and engaging, and overall this is a solid RPG. Yes, there are some flaws, but if you overlook small issues you’ll surely enjoy the amazing scene and captivating gameplay.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 is the highly anticipated new open world RPG by Capcom that brings back the unique pawn system from its predecessor. Using the RE engine the game will give us freedom to explore the world, gather equipment, new skills, complete missions and defeat its many monsters while recruiting the pawns created by other players to help us in this huge quest, and those pawns are what will make every player experience different from each other and the main feature of DD2.
One of the most anticipated title of the year for many fans of action RPG, especially considering the series closeness to the Playstation system. It’s the long awaited sequel to Dragon’s Dogma, with Dragon’s Dogma 2. About 2 months away from release, the title will have the arduous task of toppling the previous entry. From what we’ve seen so far we’ll see the return of Pawn system, hopefully with new extra mechanic and new build to play with, on top of a new engaging story.
