Ubisoft surprised many fans during the Summer Games Fest in June 2023 with the release of a trailer dedicated to Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, a new chapter in the beloved gaming series born in 1989 and absent for over 12 years.
We are now finally ready for its imminent release, with many gaming outlets already providing a quite positive response to this new title. It serves as a reboot of the series, moving towards the metroidvania genre while returning to the origins of the title as a 2D action platformer. We return to the origins of the series in the Middle East, in 11th-century Baghdad. With a focus on parkouring and platforming shared with the new Prince of Persia, albeit with a leaning towards stealth.

I loved Ori Will of the Wisps so I’m looking forward to playing Prince of Persia too. My worry is that it’ll be as hard as Hollow Knight lol
I haven’t had the chance to play any games from this list yet, but Hollow Knight and Aftermirage are in my backlog. Considering picking up Blasphemous after watching gameplay – I love the design of the bosses. And, of course, Dead Cells is on my radar as well (Discord: Dovamax)
