This 60-year-old sniper is equipped with versatile abilities!

Meet the new Overwatch character Ana Amari, a 60-year-old one-eyed sniper, and a former Overwatch founding member. Her story begins during the Omnic Crisis where she and the Overwatch team successfully completed their mission. As she is also considered as the world’s best elite sniper, Ana served as second-in-command for Strike Commander Morrison. All her years of service ended when it was believed that she died in a hostage rescue mission which also left her blind in one eye.

Ana survived, but decided to keep herself from getting involved in the world’s conflicts. Everything changed, however, when people around her, her family, and her closest allies are being threatened by forces who want to destabilize the city.

New Overwatch Character Ana: 4 Amazing Abilities

Her abilities make Ana one badass character. Playing a support role, Ana’s abilities allow her to affect everyone around her – from her allies to her opponents.

Ana’s Abilities:

BIOTIC RIFLE Her rifle allows her to shoot darts which can restore health to her allies, or deal damage to her enemies. Her rifle also is equipped with a zoom function which helps give her highly accurate shots.
SLEEP DART Ana can put enemies to sleep with her Sleep Dart from her sidearm. Any damage done while they are unconscious will rouse them, though.
BIOTIC GRENADE Ana’s Biotic Grenade can deal damage to enemies or heal her allies when tossed in an area near them. Allies affected by the Biotic Grenade will also be able to receive increased healing from other sources, while enemies cannot be healed for a few moments.
NANO BOOST Ana’s Nano Boost will allow her allies to temporarily move faster, deal more damage, and receive lesser damage from their enemies’ attacks.
